MicroPlanet Gravity, an open source Usenet Newsreader for the Windows 32 platforms, has got a very attractive customization option which allows you to customize the screen layout as well as the article layout. There are about 13 assorted four-pane and 5 different three-pane views for you to customize the screen layout. For the article layout, you can mix and match 32 message attributes.

The usual newsreader functionalities -such as internal database and offline/online options, send and receive mail capabilities, kill files, online help, progress bar showing the progress of download etc-are taken care by Gravity as well. Addition of a very helpful image gallery feature, which allows you to view / delete the downloaded images / movies, is unique in this newsreader. Images can be viewed as a thumbnail or as part of a slideshow. The opening up of your default graphic viewer is taken care by the Gravity. There are some good rules and filter system for gravity to help its users. Gravity allows you to identify key articles by playing sounds or displaying text messages. It also helps you to automatically forward articles to friends and also to mark specific news clippings as important (for later use). The customized toolbar and the search facility are newly added to this version.

This newsreader keeps users of all levels happy by providing an impressive array of news-related features and user groups.
